Biography

Scott Epstein joined RAND in November 2007 as a Research Assistant in the Santa Monica office. Scott has a B.A. in drama from Duke University and a Masters in public policy from Georgetown University. At Georgetown, he concentrated in education and social policy and wrote a thesis examining whether citizens were more likely to vote in states where the 2004 presidential election was close. At RAND, Scott is working on wide variety of projects, including studies on school leadership, standards-based accountability, and teen alcohol and drug use.
